"They say that 7 days is a long time in politics, but we found that the 7 days that covered our Business Review seemed like much longer - and dramatically changed the way we have worked in the year or two since then.
"We're a husband and wife team - or, at least that's how we always described ourselves. One of the most important things our DC Director highlighted was that we weren't a team in practice. We'd got used to pulling in our own directions not pulling together.
"We realised that we were wasting loads of energy in the business - not getting out there developing the business. We switched some roles and responsibilities, and our clients and staff really noticed an improvement!
"We've sailed through the recession when, to be honest, I think it could have brought us down if we hadn't had the Business Review. It was the best money we've ever spent!"
We ask you a set of questions about your business, and check out your competitors to make an initial Scan and Evaluation, so when we have our meeting we have real knowledge to build on.
In the meeting we really get down to business – focusing on the essentials of what’s right, wrong and potentially exciting about your business and market. By the end of it, we will have clarified key issues, and can probably together sketch out the Recommendations.
We then develop a concise Action plan for your business based on your actual market, management and financial resources, strengths and weaknesses. By the end of it, we will have clarified key issues and probably broadly agreed the way forward.
However, we then think and research further before producing a summary that covers both strategic development and tactical implementation. It's a document that we hope will become well thumbed - a practical, action oriented document that helps you keep your business on the right track.
Indicative Fee: £2,000. Only available to companies with a turnover under £250,000.
