Media Skills on the Big Stage

This fast-moving interactive presentation - with international speaker and broadcaster Michael Dodd - will boost your media response skills.
What is it?
Projecting the right image through the media requires more than just a slick spokesperson.
Effective high-profile organisations have a wide range of media-savvy people
in their ranks - to spot good news stories and to know exactly what to do
when the media come knocking at your door.
The presentation includes demonstration media interviews with participants - including instant
playbacks and critiques. The idea is for everyone to learn vital lessons about how to master the
media in a single exciting session.
If being interviewed "Jeremy Paxman-style" is too daunting, actors will be used to demonstrate good - and atrocious - interview technique... so everyone knows what to do when dealing with the media.
Understand how journalists work and how to project your organisation's messages through the news media in the way you want.
