Consultancy - The Directors' Centre Way
Do You Need To:
- Work with someone who can really help you develop your business?
- Spend some time outside the business to work on the business?
- Find some independent, impartial expert advice...?
- Use a sounding board without the baggage or politics?
Working with a Directors' Centre consultant may be the answer.
who Is It Aimed At?
- Owner-managers or key decision-makers of growing companies
- People who feel they need some help from someone who has 'been there and done it'
- People who will appreciate our no-nonsense approach to helping businesses.
How Does It Work?
- Meet with the consultant for an exploratory meeting - check the chemistry and that you feel that this is the right person for you to work with.
- Agree a clear outline and objectives, purpose of the relationship, issues to be addressed, desired outcomes, timing and fees.
- You sign the contract and work starts almost immediately.
- Usually, the first meeting runs from 4pm to 2pm the following day. This fast-tracks the relationship... the consultant gets to understand you and your business (strengths, weaknesses, key issues). You leave with an action plan for yourself along with an outline agenda of how, when and what you are going to be working on.
- You meet to address the key issues as agreed on a monthly basis. Meanwhile, you will speak on the phone and use email as arranged.
What Sort Of Things Can You And Your Consultant Work On?
Recent assignments include the following:
- Sorting the strategy or sales/marketing plan
- Sorting the people (senior management team), roles
- Putting in place a marketing/website strategy
- Responding to sudden, fundamental changes
- Creating a Marketing Implementation Plan.
What's So Special About The Directors' Centre's Way?
- Working with Directors' Centre people you get coaching in our particular style - the same philosophy and approach that permeates all our work - honest, practical, challenging, goading, output-oriented and results-focused.
- Consultants are trained and qualified but more important, they have run (and/or are running) their own businesses.
